1. LOW COST
Foam pits are extremely expensive.
FREESTYLE SAFETY NETS are provided to the people at the same cost of the raw materials.
2. NO INFESTATIONS:
Foam pits can become infested with rats, mice, snakes and other creepy crawly animals.
With FREESTYLE SAFETY NETS there is no possibility for infestation.
3. WEATHER RESISTANT
Foam pits must be covered to protect the foam. Rain in the foam pit will destroy the foam turning it mouldy. Foam would have to be replaced.
FREESTYLE SAFETY NETS are weather resistant. With no need for protection it can withstand most nature has to throw at it.
4. BUILT TO LAST:
You can only perform a select number of jumps into a foam pit before the foam starts to compact and you need to replace the foam. And if you aren’t aware, foam is VERY expensive.
The harsh nature of FMX is considered when designing FREESTYLE SAFETY NETS and can therefore withstand many more jumps than a foam pit.
5. EASY REMOVAL OF BIKE:
If you land your bike in a foam pit you need a crane to lift it out and ride again.
A down ramp allows easy and quick removal of the bike. You simply ride off.
6. MAXIMISE PRACTICE TIME:
Removal with a crane means you only get a small number of training jumps.
FREESTYLE SAFETY NETS allow you to perform more jumps in less time.
If you land in a foam pit there is no way you can continue riding.
If you land on a FREESTYLE SAFETY NET upright you can simply ride away. This simulates landing on the ground or a ramp.
8. MOVEABLE:
Foam pits are extremely difficult to move. Once placed somewhere it is very unlikely to be transported to another training ground.
FREESTYLE SAFETY NETS can be relocated and set up again with ease.
9. NO DANGEROUS COLLISIONS
If you misjudge your jump there is a possibility of hitting a foam pit wall or missing the foam pit altogether (most foam pits are smaller than our FREESTYLE SAFETY NETS).
There is no danger of running into any part of a FREESTYLE SAFETY NET.
10. FIRE PROOF
There is a high danger of fire when using a foam pit. Crashing and leaking fuel which can catch alight.
